RT TEST
The RT TEST is a non-destructive method to inspect parts or objects, to detect discontinuities or internal defects.
The method uses an X or Gamma radiation source. The object to be inspected is irradiated, the radiation passes through the material being absorbed by it and then emerges in different intensities which are intercepted by a radiographic film. After the film is processed, the image and defects are evaluated.
For this method there are different application techniques according to the material inspected (exposure techniques).
